Health of Puppy
OUR PUP'S ARE VET CHECKED BEFORE GOING TO THEIR NEW HOMES TO INSURE YOU GET A HEALTHY PUP. WE USE DR. DAN MOONEY AT PARK FOREST ANIMAL HOSPITAL LOCATED AT 10201 GREENWELL SPRINGS RD. BATON ROUGE ,LOUISIANA. DOGS AND PUPS HAVE WORMS,SO THEY NEED TO BE CHECKED FOR WORMS, ASK YOUR VET FOR MORE DETAILS ON THIS. IN LOUISIANA WE HAVE PARVO, THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS ILLNESS THAT CAN KILL YOUR DOG OR PUPPY IF PROPER SHOTS ARE NOT GIVEN. WE GIVE YEARLY SHOTS TO ALL ADULT DOGS AND PUPS GET SHOTS AT 6 WEEKS, 9 WEEKS, and 12 WEEKS. IF YOUR PUP IS EXSPOSED TO PARVO BEFORE IT GETS ITS LAST SHOT IT CAN BE FATAL, SO WE ADVISE YOU TO LIMIT THE PLACES YOUR PUP GOES, KEEP IT IN A PET TAXI OR IN YOUR ARMS WHEN VISITING FRIENDS, THE VETS OFFICE, PET STORES ,ETC. AND NEVER PUT IT ON THE FLOORS EXCEPT AT YOUR OWN HOME. PARVO IS PASSED ON BY FECES AND IT CAN LIVE IN YOUR YARD FOR 7 YEARS. BLEACHING YOUR YARD AND FLOORS OF YOUR HOME WILL KILL IT.YOUR VET CAN ANSWER QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE.PLEASE ASK YOUR VET QUESTIONS, HE KNOWS A LOT AND YOU CAN LEARN A GREAT DEAL FROM HIM IF YOU ASK.WRITE YOUR QUESTIONS DOWN ON PAPER AND BRING IT WITH YOU TO VET VISIT. PUPPYS AND DOGS CAN BE HARD TO UNDERSTAND AND THEY THINK WE ARE HARD TO UNDERSTAND ALSO,SO WE HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU LOOK INTO PUPPY TRAINING CLASSES.IT WILL MAKE LIFE SO MUCH SIMPLER FOR YOU ,YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR PUP.I TOOK CLASSES AND LEARNED THINGS LIKE IF YOUR PUP GETS YOUR FAVORITE SHOES AND IS CHEWING THEM ,YOU SHOULD GET PUPS ATTENTION AND TELL HIM NO,AND GIVE PUP A RAW HIDE AND WHEN HE CHEWS IT ,THEN PET AND PRAISE PUP FOR THE BEHAVIOR YOU WANT.PUPS THAT ARE UNWANTED WHEN THEY GET OLDER ARE USUALLY NOT TRAINED.IT WOULD BE YOUR FAULT IF YOU HAVE A PUPPY OR DOG THAT WANT BEHAVE BUT YOU DIDN'T PUT THE PUP THRU CLASSES,THIS INCLUDES POTTY TRAINING.WE CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH THE IMPORTANCE OF TRAINING YOUR PUP.WE DO NOT WANT OUR PUPS TO GROW UP AND NOT BE LOVED OR WANTED ANY LONGER.

WE REQUIRE A 100.00 DEPOSIT TO HOLD THE PUP YOU CHOOSE,AND DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE.WE EXCEPT CHECKS FOR DEPOSITS BUT CASH ONLY ON PICK UP DATE.WE PROVIDE A RECEIPT OF DEPOSIT ON EACH PUP AND REQUIRE THAT PUP IS VET CHECKED WITHIN 48 HOURS OF BEING PICKED UP ( NOT INCLUDING SUNDAY OR HOLIDAYS). PAYMENT PLANS ARE AVAILABLE ACCORDING TO YOUR NEEDS.DEPOSITS CAN BE ADJUSTED AS WELL. WHEN IS PICK UP DATE ?
PICK UP DATE DEPENDS ON MATURITY OF EACH PUP USUALLY 7-8 WEEKS OLD,and ACCORDING TO YOUR NEEDS AS WELL, IF YOU ARE OFF ON WEEKENDS WE SUGGEST PICKING PUP UP ON FRIDAY SO PUP CAN HAVE WEEKEND TO GET USE TO YOU. PUPPY MAY ALSO CRY AT NIGHT AND YOU WILL NOT GET SLEEP. WHEN YOU BRING YOUR PUPPY HOME TRY TO KEEP THINGS CALM AND QUIET SO PUP DOESN'T GET STRESSED. STRESS IS NOT GOOD FOR A LITTLE ONE. SMALL CHILDREN NEED TO BE SURERVISED AROUND NEW PUP AND TAUGHT HOW TO BE GENTLE. A PUP ONLY KNOWS OF ITS MOM ,LITTER MATES AND OUR HOME AND ITS SCARY FOR IT TO GO WITH NEW PEOPLE IT DOESN'T KNOW, SO KEEP THAT IN MIND FOR YOUR NEW LITTLE ONE, WITH LOVE AND ASSURANCE IT WILL NOT TAKE IT LONG AND IT WILL FEEL SECURE IN ITS NEW HOME WITH ITS NEW FAMILY.

WE HAVE INFO SHEETS ON POTTY TRAINING THAT GOES WITH EACH PUP AND WE SUGGEST READING AND LEARNING ABOUT POTTY TRAINING BEFORE YOU BRING YOUR PUP HOME ( HAVE YOUR PLAN READY ).YOU HAVE TO BE CONSISTENT WITH POTTY TRAINING,SO NO OVERSLEEPING ON WEEKENDS .
